ColeBreit Engineering provided mechanical and plumbing engineering services for The Hixon at Westside Yard, a six-story, 194,000-square-foot mixed-use development in Bend, Oregon. The project includes 203 market-rate residential units above approximately 16,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.
Working under Apollo Mechanical Contractors, mechanical and plumbing systems were coordinated across residential units, shared amenities, retail interfaces, and structured parking. Integration between residential and commercial uses required careful utility separation, ventilation coordination, and infrastructure planning to support energy efficiency and long-term performance.
System design aligned with architectural layouts and construction sequencing within a dense urban environment. The completed project contributes to Westside Yard’s urban activation while delivering coordinated M&P systems designed for reliability and maintainability at scale.
