Marketing Coordinator

Location: Based in any of our 6 offices. A nearby remote location may be considered.

 

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

 

As the Marketing Coordinator at ColeBreit Engineering, you will play a vital role in executing marketing strategies to promote our services, enhance our online presence, and drive business growth. Drawing on your A/E/C industry experience and working closely with the Director, Marketing, your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of marketing tasks. These will include ownership of proposal development, tracking and submittal process, creating statements of qualifications, overseeing LinkedIn posts and content strategy, website management, CRM management and more.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

Business Development:

  • Drive the proposal development and submittal process.

  • Craft and produce proposals, interview materials, and SOQs for proposed engineering projects.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to gather relevant project information, achievements, and qualifications.

  • Compile and format data to create compelling and accurate SOQs and employee resumes.

  • Ensure all materials align with the firm's brand standards and quality guidelines.

  • Regularly update and maintain a database of current employee resumes and project references.

  • Creation of compelling graphics, brochures, and marketing materials.

  • Ensure proposals are submitted on time and meet deadlines.
     

Social Media and Content Strategy:

  • Manage the company's LinkedIn account and create engaging posts to showcase projects, achievements, and company culture.

  • Help develop and implement a content strategy to increase the firm's presence on LinkedIn and attract potential clients and talent.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for content creation and engagement.

  • Help establish and maintain an email newsletter and external marketing campaigns.
     

Public Relations and Thought Leadership:

  • Maintain PR obligations in the Marketing calendar.

  • Research and track thought leadership opportunities, including speaking engagements, awards, case studies, white papers, etc.
     

Website Management:

  • Assist with maintaining the firm's website regularly.

  • Ensure that the website content is accurate, up-to-date, and visually appealing.

  • Optimize website content for SEO to improve online visibility and search engine rankings.
     

CRM Management:

  • Work closely with the firm's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and ensure its effective utilization by the marketing and project teams.

  • Regularly update client and prospect information, track marketing campaigns, and generate relevant reports and insights.

  • Work closely with the project teams and Principals to identify potential leads and assist in lead nurturing processes.
     

Tradeshows and Events:

  • Develop industry event details and related marketing strategies including trade show booth displays and giveaways, regional client events, and other company hosted displays and activities.

  • Work closely with local AIA, SMPS and similar organizations to occasionally attend relevant marketing events.
     

Other:

  • Development and maintenance of marketing systems and records.

  • Design and order employee business cards.

  • Respond to inquiries from the ColeBreit Engineering website.

  • Oversee employee branded item orders to ensure consistency of branding across the business.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in the office in which they are assigned. 

 

TRAVEL

This position may require local travel (within 50 miles of home office) and occasionally requires up to 10% of travel outside of 50 miles from home office. May occasionally require overnight travel.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associates degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field and/or 3+ years relevant experience in marketing coordination or a similar role, preferably in the architecture, engineering, and/or construction industry.

  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines.

  • Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational skills are a must.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to create compelling marketing materials.

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and/or similar programs.

  • Experience in maintaining business websites.

  • Proficiency in utilizing LinkedIn for business purposes and implementing content strategies.

  • Creative mindset to develop innovative marketing strategies and content.

  • A commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

  • Ability to work with integrity, trust and commitment, setting an example for others.

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and its functionalities.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing trends.

  • PR and thought leadership experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.

  • Experience creating and designing in Canva.

  • Experience in maintaining business websites using Wix website developer.
