As a Project Manager for ColeBreit Engineering, you will have the opportunity to lead diverse teams, drive project success from start to finish, and ensure the delivery of high-quality projects that exceed client expectations while aligning with company goals.

AN EXPERT IN COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION. You ensure alignment across all stakeholders through clear communication, fostering collaboration, and addressing client requests or concerns with professionalism.
​ORGANIZED AND DETAIL-ORIENTED. You seamlessly manage multiple projects across various phases, adhering to deadlines, while consistently reviewing contracts, drawings, and specifications with a sharp eye for detail to ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards.
​RESILIENT, PROACTIVE, AND RESPONSIVE. You stay composed under pressure, handling tight deadlines, complex requirements, and client concerns while keeping projects on track, managing scope changes, and ensuring timely updates and responses to stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
Within the first 30 days:

Develops a deep understanding of ColeBreit Engineering’s mission, values, and strategic goals, while immersing themselves in the firm's unique market differentiators.

Engages with experienced Project Managers, Project Leads, and Project Executives to gain firsthand exposure to workflows, processes, and project lifecycles.

Actively participates in weekly and monthly design, leadership, and department meetings, gaining insights into decision-making, collaboration, and communication processes that drive successful outcomes.

By the 30-day mark, provides meaningful feedback in scheduled meetings, manages 1+ small, low-complexity projects with guidance, and builds a reputation for being proactive, eager, and a quick learner.
60-90 days and ongoing:
-
Represents ColeBreit Engineering with professionalism by attending client meetings, maintaining day-to-day communication, and serving as the trusted point of contact for project updates, progress, and expectations.

Leads project teams with confidence, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met, while fostering accountability and collaboration among team members. Monitors progress to ensure the timely completion of Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD) and Construction Documentation (CD) phases, while efficiently managing RFIs and submittals during construction.

Oversees up to 10 projects across various stages, balancing competing priorities with poise and precision. Provides clear stakeholder updates, resolves challenges, and ensures all aspects of project management are executed seamlessly.

By the 3-month mark, operates independently as a capable and resourceful Project Manager, contributing at a high level while identifying opportunities to enhance workflows and communication.
6-12 months and ongoing:

Skillfully handles up to 20 diverse projects at various stages, expertly balancing priorities and addressing client needs while advocating for the team to maintain realistic expectations and uphold high standards of performance.

Achieves all KPIs and financial goals, consistently delivering measurable results that reflect exceptional project management and strategic leadership.

By 12-month mark, actively identifies opportunities for innovation in workflows, team collaboration, and client engagement, offering actionable insights to enhance the firm's effectiveness.

Beyond the 12-month mark, takes an active role in firm-wide initiatives, contributing fresh ideas and strategic improvements, while confidently guiding discussions and proposing new approaches during department and leadership meetings. Strengthens team dynamics through collaboration, mentorship, and a genuine commitment to fostering a culture of growth and excellence.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

3+ years of project management experience within engineering, construction, or related industry required

Associate’s degree or equivalent in a business field such as engineering, project management, or a related discipline combined with project management training and/or experience required; Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related discipline preferred

Capacity to cultivate a collaborative work environment, leading teams by encouraging cooperation, commitment, and accountability in alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and values required

Skilled in developing and maintaining appropriate relationships with superiors, peers, colleagues, clients, and vendors required

Proficient in Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint highly preferred, familiarity with Asana or Microsoft Project a plus

PMP or Project Management certification highly preferred

The compensation range is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience level and skillset
