ColeBreit Engineering provided mechanical and plumbing engineering services, including medical gas systems, for the 4,500-square-foot Central Oregon Surgery Center in west Bend, Oregon. Developed for Med-Tech Properties of Central Oregon, LLC and operated by Central Oregon Surgery Center, the ambulatory surgery center required precise system coordination to meet outpatient surgical standards.
HVAC systems serving recovery, office, and lobby areas utilized packaged units with VAV distribution, while clinical spaces incorporated electric reheat to support patient comfort and operational requirements. Plumbing scope included domestic water, waste and vent systems, and medical gas infrastructure essential to surgical functions.
Coordination with Tekneek Architecture and the project team ensured compliance with healthcare codes and efficient integration within the facility footprint. The completed ASC provides reliable, high-performance mechanical and plumbing systems tailored to a small-scale, high-acuity outpatient environment.
