Columbia Veterinary Clinic

Summary

ColeBreit Engineering provided full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering services for Columbia Veterinary Hospital, a 4,746-square-foot single-story veterinary clinic located in Chenowith Business Park in The Dalles, Oregon. Designed by Jeff Dellis Architecture, the facility supports exam and treatment areas, reception, and high-volume clinical spaces requiring durable, hygienic, and reliable building systems.
HVAC systems were designed using packaged and split systems sized through detailed load calculations to maintain appropriate ventilation, temperature control, and air distribution in animal care environments. Plumbing infrastructure included domestic water, waste and vent, storm drainage, and gas piping to support treatment and sanitation needs. Electrical scope encompassed interior and exterior lighting, power distribution, telecommunications pathways, and site lighting, coordinated to align with clinical workflows and equipment demands.
Close coordination across disciplines ensured that MEP systems were integrated efficiently within the building footprint while supporting constructability and long-term operational performance. The completed facility provides healthcare-grade building systems adapted to the specific demands of veterinary care.
