Leading Edge Aviation New Hangar
Summary
Leading Edge Aviation’s new 32,000 SF hangar at the Redmond Municipal Airport expands the FBO’s operational capacity with upgraded facilities and modern amenities. ColeBreit Engineering provided full MEP/FP engineering services for the new hangar and support spaces, coordinating with the City of Redmond, the FAA, and other local jurisdictions to ensure compliance with aviation, safety, and environmental requirements. Our team designed mechanical systems for the large-volume hangar, electrical distribution, plumbing systems, and fire protection to meet the operational needs of a high-performance aviation facility.
A key component of the project was integrating visitor- and pilot-focused amenities—including a new reception area, upgraded meeting facilities, expanded outdoor event space, and a pilot lounge with showers—while maintaining efficient and maintainable building systems. ColeBreit also provided engineering design for charging infrastructure to support both electric aircraft and motor vehicles, aligning the project with the aviation industry’s growing electrification needs. Through consistent leadership and close coordination with project partners, ColeBreit delivered systems that enhance safety, reliability, and the overall user experience.
