The New Redmond Hotel is a 41,000-square-foot, 49-room historic hotel redevelopment located in Redmond, Oregon. Completed in partnership with the City of Redmond, the project revitalized a landmark property, preserving its historic character while upgrading building systems to meet modern performance and occupant needs.

ColeBreit Engineering provided mechanical and plumbing engineering services, supporting the integration of new systems within the constraints of an existing historic structure. System design required careful coordination to maintain architectural integrity while improving functionality, efficiency, and long-term reliability for hotel operations.

Through thoughtful system integration and collaboration with the project team, the redevelopment successfully balanced preservation with modernization, contributing to the building’s renewed role in the community.

The project was recognized with the DeMuro Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation.
